about.

Brenda Hall is a self-taught Wood Artist and Master Finisher.  She has been creating furniture, art, sculptures and cabinetry for over 30 years. Brenda is incredibly passionate about wood, creating, and bringing ideas and dreams to reality.

Originally from Oregon where she was surrounded by trees, Brenda found her passion at a young age of 7.  She was consistently educating herself, always enveloped in a book and always questioning.  At the age of 33 Brenda decided to move to the East Coast to expand her knowledge of Woodworking.  She spent over 9 years working with Ian Ingersoll gaining a Masters knowledge of finishing.  She has gone on to produce well curated pieces while working with some very talented designers such as Studio D Interiors, Google and Make a Wish foundation-Vermont as well as working with owners and staff of residential homes from Boston to South Carolina, California, Nevada and Oregon.

Brenda brings her years of Finishing experience and knowledge to the table through hands on workshops at Craft Schools throughout New England and will soon be offering Group and Private workshops at her Studio in Eastford, Connecticut.

In addition she loves to remodel vintage campers, bring a new life to antique furniture and repurpose anything old and beautiful.

Brenda has a keen eye for detail; feeling the wood, listening to it, working with the grain and texture. From large installs, sculptural pieces or a simple yet intricate ring box, anything is possible.
